πŸ‘‰πŸ» I think of movement as medicine. But just like it’s important to have the right medicine, it’s also important to use the right movements for results.

These workouts are not your average exercise class.

They are very specific to parts of the spine and to create healthier tissue. They are carefully sequenced and planned so that you really experience a shift and notice a change in your body, how it feels and how it functions.

I have felt for a long time that there should be a proactive program that helps people to feel, look and actually be healthier as they age, but still useful for all ages and all fitness levels.

A program to work with the anatomy that we have and focus on maintaining it to keep it working as it should. To fight the effects of gravity and stress, wear and tear. To be able to move our bodies and enjoy life well into our 60’s, 70s 80s, 90s and beyond if we should be so lucky.

πŸ€ΈπŸΌβ€β™€οΈAll ages – young and old, no matter what your fitness level is, can benefit from awareness and mindful movement.

That is what inspired me to create this program. With these exercises you can give your body the attention and awareness that it needs to move more freely and efficiently and with ease. These exercises can work in conjunction with any other training, activity or sport that you enjoy – or as a stand alone program.

I hope you enjoy these workouts as much as I enjoyed creating them.

Everyday start with the warm up below and then choose what you want to work on for that day:

πŸ€ΈπŸΌβ€β™€οΈπŸ‘‰πŸ»The video below is a general warmup sequence. For the most part I included a warmup inside each workout in the program – however I included this here so that you could do a quick stand-alone articular joint warmup, or add it as a warm up to do before any other workout or activity.

It is imperative that you be well warmed up before you do any stretching exercises or ELDOA.

I often describe the importance by comparing the body to a block of clay that you just took out of the refrigerator, and how supple it can get once you warm it up and move it gradually through your hands. It’s not the same type of substance but you get the idea. The blood needs to circulate, muscles need to be pumped up a bit and the body needs to be awake in order for the exercises to be safe and effective.
